                                                                                                                                                                                                                  fun E-Session!~~~

We were very excited to meet with our latest engagement session couple, Susan and Brad. As close friends of one of our favorite couples from last years wedding season we knew we were in for some good laughs. During our correspondence Susan described she and her fiancé Brad as a little “Beaver Cleaver” and love to sit on their front porch swing together, cook together, and dance in their living room (how adorable is that?!!). So what better place to start than their house… after some much needed Starbucks of courseJ David and I were so excited that the couple wanted photos in their home- it’s unique and it’s a first for us! While we were out on the porch their dog Yarrah even got in on the fun. After a few kitchen and outside photos and a Razor Scooter hijacking (remember those!?) we took a drive to NoDa, Charlotte’s Historic Art District. We got the opportunity to hit a few of their favorite haunts like The Evening Muse and the place they had one of their very first dates- Cabo Fish Taco, which everyone we talked to that night raved about!! Then we took a stroll down the railroad tracks at sunset- the lighting was great and there were no trains in sight. We got a ton of sweet images of Brad and Susan, as well as some epic shoe photos- I LOVE shoes (and I’m pretty sure Susan does too)!   ENJOY – Felecia

Brad has quite the sense of humor and kept Susan laughing all the time. They were so relaxed and really enjoyed their time during the E-session.No,  Brad does not own this awesome scooter (we hijacked it for a sec from a kid in the pool), and he doesn’t buy his helmets 6 sizes too small. We saw this daring ride and Brad couldn’t resist showing Susan some of his sweet moves.  Susan quickly jumped on and they rode off into the sunset 🙂I’m starting to worry about my photography skills at this point. She’s not the first girl who jumped in front of dumpsters for a photo op (check out Mike and Carolyn’s wedding, last pic).  It was a great laugh, and we had many of them on this E-session!Weird name for a restaurant I know, but its a huge hit in Charlotte and its where Susan and Brad had their first date!Yes, we did the cliche shoes on the tracks shot, and we love it 🙂I really like this last photo. For me, the blur really adds something to it.
